Your marketplace price comes straight from your product data — there's no separate marketplace price to manage in Osello. Change a price in your store and it flows to every marketplace that sells the product. One number, one place, everywhere.
Your product's price is the marketplace price
When Osello imports your products, each variant brings two numbers with it:
- Price — what the item sells for. In Shopify, this is the variant's price.
- MSRP — the manufacturer's suggested retail price. In Shopify, this comes from the variant's compare-at price.
By default, the price Osello sends to a marketplace is the variant's price. There is deliberately no per-marketplace price override: keeping one source of truth means your marketplaces can never drift out of step with your store.
The MSRP option
Each marketplace connection has a Use MSRP for Price setting, and it's on by default. When it's on and a product has an MSRP, Osello sends the MSRP as that marketplace's price instead of the variant's price. Products without an MSRP fall back to their regular price automatically.
Why would you want this? Many sellers run their own store at a discount but list on marketplaces at full retail. With this setting on, your Shopify sale price stays yours, and marketplaces get the full compare-at price.
To change it:
- In the sidebar, open the marketplace and click Settings, then click Edit.
- In the Offers card, switch Use MSRP for Price on or off.
- Save.
Turn it off if you want marketplaces to match your store's selling price exactly.
How to change a price
- Change the variant's price (or compare-at price, if you use the MSRP option) in your store — for example, in Shopify.
- Osello picks up the change and pushes updated prices to your marketplaces automatically, usually within the hour.
- To confirm what was sent, open the marketplace's Offers page — the Price and MSRP columns show the current values for every SKU.
If you need the update on the marketplace immediately, use Push Offers to your marketplace from the Offers page instead of waiting for the next automatic push.
What a variant needs for its price to be sent
- A SKU, and an enabled listing — the same requirements as any offer data.
- A price greater than zero. Variants with no price are skipped rather than sent as free.
- The marketplace's Push Offers setting left on (it's in the same Offers card in Settings).
