Your marketplace price comes straight from your product data — there's no separate marketplace price to manage in Osello. Change a price in your store and it flows to every marketplace that sells the product. One number, one place, everywhere.
Your product's price is the marketplace price
When Osello imports your products, each variant brings two numbers with it:
- Price — what the item sells for. In Shopify, this is the variant's price.
- MSRP — the manufacturer's suggested retail price. In Shopify, this comes from the variant's compare-at price.
There is deliberately no per-marketplace price override: keeping one source of truth means your marketplaces can never drift out of step with your store.
Which number a marketplace gets
The price Osello sends a marketplace is the greater of your two numbers — your MSRP if you set one, otherwise the product's price. Many sellers run their own store at a discount but list on marketplaces at full retail, so this keeps your Shopify sale price yours while marketplaces get the full compare-at price.
Products without an MSRP are sent their price, unchanged.
Showing a sale price
If you want the marketplace to show that higher price struck through with your selling price next to it, switch Only use MSRP off in the Pricing card under the marketplace's Settings → Offers tab. Your product's price is then also sent as the discounted price. See how discounted prices work.
Saving that change refreshes your offers straight away, and the prices it changed go out to the marketplace within a minute.
How to change a price
- Change the variant's price (or compare-at price, whichever is the higher of the two) in your store — for example, in Shopify.
- Osello picks up the change and pushes updated prices to your marketplaces automatically, usually within a few minutes.
- To confirm what was sent, open the marketplace's Offers page — the Price column shows the current value for every SKU, and hovering it breaks out the price, MSRP and any discount.
If you need the update on the marketplace immediately, use Push Offers to your marketplace from the Offers page instead of waiting for the next automatic push.
What a variant needs for its price to be sent
- A SKU, and an enabled listing — the same requirements as any offer data.
- A price greater than zero. Variants with no price are skipped rather than sent as free.
- The marketplace's Push Offers setting left on (it's in the Sync card on the same Settings tab).
