Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, and Dia & Co all run their seller programs on the same platform (Mirakl), so they connect to Osello the same way: with a Store ID and a Personal API Key from that marketplace's seller portal.
Get your credentials
Each marketplace has its own seller portal, and each connection needs its own credentials — your Macy's key won't work for Nordstrom.
- Store ID — the numeric ID the marketplace assigned to your shop.
- Personal API Key — an API key from your account settings in that marketplace's seller portal.
You'll find both in the marketplace's seller portal settings. If you're not sure where to look, contact us with the Get Help button and we'll walk you through it.
Connect in Osello
- Click the + button next to the Marketplaces heading in the left sidebar.
- Choose the marketplace you want — Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, or Dia & Co.
- In the marketplace's Settings section, enter your Store ID and Personal API Key.
- Click Save.
Osello verifies the credentials automatically right after you save. If something's wrong, you'll see an alert saying the marketplace is disconnected, with the error it reported.
After you connect
- Categories and fields are ready. Osello already carries each marketplace's category tree and field requirements, so you can start creating listings immediately. Keep in mind that even though these marketplaces share a platform, each one has its own required fields — a listing that's complete for Macy's may still have gaps for Nordstrom.
- Group codes are called VGCs. Mirakl marketplaces group a style's variants under a Variant Group Code, so Osello labels each listing's group code VGC on these marketplaces (instead of your store's usual caption, Style Code by default). Your product data is unchanged — it's only the label.
- Repeat per marketplace. Selling on both Macy's and Bloomingdale's? Connect each one separately — they're independent connections with independent listings.
If the connection drops
If your API key is revoked or expires, Osello shows a disconnected alert explaining that listings, offers, and orders are not syncing. Open the marketplace's Settings page from the sidebar, enter a fresh Personal API Key, and use Check Connection to confirm you're back online.
