- The selected image should have a white background. Don't select images that are showcasing any customization such as embroidery. Choose a product photo that clearly displays the product and is facing forward towards the camera. If the product is clothing, then choose the photo with a model in it where the model is is facing forwards. If multiple images fit the criteria, choose the one that is closest to fitting all the criteria. Unless no other option is available, choose images without annotated measurements on them. For footwear, prefer images that show the show on it's side facing left if available. If you're updating a variant of a configurable product and the current variant is in a specific color, then prefer the image in the same color if available.
