Excluding a product takes it out of listing consideration on every marketplace at once. Use it for a product you have discontinued, one you are holding back for a season, or one a marketplace asked you to pull.
Open the product, click the ... menu, and choose Marketplaces → Exclude....
What you choose
- How long. Pick from the Exclude list. Indefinitely leaves the exclusion in place until you end it. The durations (1 day through 1 year, including 2 and 3 weeks) and Until a date end it automatically at the time you pick, which is what you want for a seasonal hold.
- A reason. Required, and shown on the product page and in the products table so the next person knows why it is out.
- Also disable associated listings. Off by default, and named with the number of enabled listings it would take down. Leave it off to keep the listings live while the product stops being considered for new ones; turn it on to take them down at the same time. The option is not offered when there is nothing to disable.
What changes
The product leaves every marketplace's Products to List report and stops being auto-listed. Where it is already listed, it shows up in Products to Unlist, whatever that marketplace's saved criteria say.
Nothing else changes. Existing listings keep selling, orders keep coming in, and you can still create a listing for the product by hand if you need to.
Ending the exclusion
Click Include again on the banner at the top of the product page, or pick Marketplaces → Include in listing from the ... menu. A timed exclusion ends by itself when its window is up.
Either way the product goes back into Products to List on every marketplace it qualifies for. Listings that were disabled when you excluded it stay disabled — re-enable them from each listing.
Excluding several products at once
Select the products on the Products page (or on a marketplace's Products to List or Products to Unlist report), then choose Products → Exclude from listing in the actions bar. Include in listing ends the exclusion on the selection the same way.
To leave the excluded products out of the Products page, open the filters, go to Listings, and tick Hide products excluded from listings.
