Manage Your Osello Subscription

How to pick a plan, use a promo code, update your payment method, fix a failed payment, view invoices, change plans, or cancel your Osello subscription.

Your Osello subscription is billed through Stripe. You pick a plan from the Billing page, pay by card in Stripe's secure checkout, and manage everything — plan changes, payment methods, cancellation — from the same place afterward.

Open the Billing page

  1. Click the store menu at the bottom of the left sidebar (your store's name and logo).
  2. Open Settings and choose Billing.

See your current plan

The Billing page always shows a card with your current plan — including the Free plan — and its price. The price is shown per month alongside how you're billed: on annual billing it's the discounted monthly rate you're paying, not the list monthly price. Once you're on a paid plan it also shows an Active badge and your next renewal date. If you've scheduled a cancellation, it shows the date your access ends instead. The card's actions menu (⋯) holds the subscription actions and a link to our Terms of Service.

Subscribe to or upgrade a plan

  • If you don't have an active subscription (you're on the Free plan), the card shows a Choose plan button.
  • If you're on a paid plan but have gone over one of your limits, it shows an Upgrade plan button.

Either button opens the Plans page, where you can compare every tier and pick one. From there you're taken to Stripe Checkout to enter your payment details, and when you finish you land back in Osello with your subscription active.

The subscription belongs to the store, not to whoever pays. Checkout is prefilled with the store's billing email (your own email the first time, if none is set yet) and invoices are addressed to the store's name. Anyone on the store can check out or change the plan.

Plan pricing and what's included in each tier are listed on our pricing page, and on the Plans page a Recommended badge highlights the plan that best fits your current usage.

Subscribe from a link we sent you

Our team may send you a link to subscribe your store to a specific plan. Opening it signs you in if you aren't already, opens your store's Plans page and takes you straight to Stripe for that plan: Checkout if you're on the Free plan, or a confirmation of the plan change if you already subscribe. If the link includes a promo code, Checkout opens with the discount already applied. Nothing is charged until you confirm in Stripe. The link only works for someone on that store's team.

Use a promo code

Type your promo code into the promo code field on Stripe Checkout. Stripe shows the discount and your new total before you pay.

A link from us can also apply a code for you. When a code has expired or doesn't cover the plan you picked, the Plans page says why, and you can subscribe without it or enter a different code at checkout.

Promo codes apply when you start a subscription. To discount a plan you already pay for, email [email protected]. The plan card on the Billing page keeps showing the plan's regular price, and your invoices show the discount.

Change your plan, update your card, or cancel

Open the plan card's actions menu (⋯) on the Billing page. Change plan takes you to the in-app Plans page to compare tiers and switch.

Switch from monthly to annual billing

On monthly billing, open the Plans page with the Annual toggle selected and click Switch to annual on your current plan. Stripe shows the new annual price and any proration before you confirm. You can't switch an annual plan back to monthly billing.

Update payment method takes you straight to Stripe's card form. Add the new card and Stripe makes it your default, then sends you back to the Billing page.

Manage payment info opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can:

  • Update your payment method.
  • Switch to a different plan — upgrades are pro-rated automatically.
  • Cancel your subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Fix a failed payment or an expiring card

When your subscription needs attention, a banner appears at the top of every page in your store, and the plan card on the Billing page shows the problem in place of the Active badge. Click Update payment method in the banner or on the card to add a new card in Stripe.

Banner What happened Listing submissions
Your last subscription payment failed Your renewal charge was declined and Stripe is retrying it. Paused
Your Osello subscription is unpaid Stripe stopped retrying and the payment is still owed. Paused
Your subscription payment didn't go through Your first payment failed or needs you to confirm it. Not affected
Your card has expired The card your subscription renews on has expired. Not affected
Your card expires soon That card expires within 30 days. Not affected

While a payment has failed you keep your plan and its limits, but you can't submit listings to your marketplaces. Submitting shows a message saying why. Prices and inventory keep syncing, and everything else in Osello works as usual. Submissions resume, and the banner goes away, once Stripe reports the payment as paid.

View your invoices

Open the Invoices tab on the Billing page. Upcoming charges appear at the top, and past invoices below. Click View on any invoice to open the full Stripe-hosted invoice, where you can also download a PDF for your records.

Plan limits and overage

Each plan includes monthly limits on Active SKUs, marketplace order volume, connected marketplaces, and team members. See Plan Limits, Usage, and Overage Charges for how limits are measured and what happens if you exceed them.
