Color ID is an optional Target+ attribute that holds the identifier your catalog uses for a colorway. Target+ is Target's third-party marketplace, and the attribute appears only in the categories whose item setup includes it. It is the code behind the shopper-facing color name: the color number from your PLM system, the color suffix in your SKUs, or whichever key your team uses to tell "Navy" from "Midnight".
The value belongs to the colorway. All sizes of one colorway share it, and no other colorway in the style group should carry the same ID.
