Highlights (Featured & Benefits) are the Feature & Benefit bullets on a Macy's product page, the short list a shopper scans for fit, closure, length and construction before reading the full description. Macy's requires them on every listing, and its category guides specify which details the bullets must cover: a dress needs its length and how it was measured, pants need the inseam and rise, a bra needs coverage, closure, straps and cup type.
The bullets are set once per style group, so they hold for every color and size and cannot mention a specific color, size or wash.

Content rules
Use the source title, description, attributes and images. Details visible in the photos count when they can be identified with confidence: fit, silhouette, rise, sleeve length, neckline, collar, closure, pockets, leg shape, length, belt loops, embellishments, lining.
Approximate measurements are allowed when the category and silhouette are clear and the category calls for one, and every estimate is labeled "Approx." ("Approx. 32.5" from top of shoulder to bottom hem"). Dress and top lengths state how they were measured, the size they are based on and the variance between sizes when the data supports it: "Approx. 60" long from high point of shoulder to hem. Length is based on size 4 and varies 1" between sizes." Model height and size appear only when a model is in the photos: "Approx. model height is 5'9" and she is wearing a size 2".
Macy's standard sizing sentences are "Due to generous sizing, we suggest sizing down for the perfect fit", "Runs small; we suggest sizing up for the perfect fit" and "Runs large; we suggest sizing down for the perfect fit". Petite styles carry "Designed to fit and flatter frames 5'4" and under".
When the source states the garment is GOTS-certified, one bullet includes the exact text "GOTS Scope Certificate Number SC-028924-0." When it states OCS certification, one bullet includes "OCS Scope Certificate Number IDF-26-1008278." Fold the number into an existing material bullet so the count stays at 5, and never add a certification the source does not support.
Leave out fabric composition percentages and care instructions (they have their own fields), company history, "our" and best-selling claims, price, shipping, other websites and URLs, unsupported sustainability, antimicrobial, performance or certification claims, unverified awards and keyword stuffing. The regulated words follow the rest of the Macy's copy: never "vegan", "gold" and "silver" only for real metals, no exotic skins. Common mistakes
- Five generic benefit lines ("Stylish and comfortable") that skip the required measurements and closures for the category.
