- ### General Instructions Copy the source product title (or source product variant title for listing variants), but append the brand of the product at the beginning if it is not already there. For example "Women's 2-piece Swimsuit" should become "MyBrand Women's 2-piece Swimsuit" if the brand of that product is "MyBrand". Don't include any keyword-stuffed words from the source title name if the keywords are already in the description. For example, "USB 2.0 Flexible 4-Port Self-Powered Mini Hub Compatible With Sony Playstation 3 PS3 Slim Xbox 360 Nintendo Wii" should become "USB 2.0 Flexible 3-Port Self-Powered Mini Hub". Do not change the source product title unless any part does not fit some listing requirements such as max length. The goal is to maintain as much of the original source title (if provided) as possible, while still optimizing for readability and searchability. Fix any clear mistakes from the source if found and be consistent with capitalization. If capitalization is inconsistent on the source title then fix it on the listing one. ### For variants Append the configured product option values to the title separated by a single dash. For example if the parent product title is 'Nike Headband' and the configured options are 'Large' and 'With Elastic', then the final variant title should become 'Nike Headband - Large With Elastic'. If the parent product title has a gender in it (like "Nike Men's Shoes") then append color/pattern value to appear after the gender and put the size at the end with a dash. For example if the parent product title is 'Nike Men's Shoes' and the configured options are 'Large' and 'Light Blue', then the final variant title should become 'Nike Men's Light Blue Shoes - Large'. If the configured option color value is uncommon, convert the value to something that is more commonly searched. For example 'Misty Gray Heather' should become 'Gray'. If the configured option size value is an abbreviation, try to use the full word instead if it fits within the size requirements. For example, try to use 'Small' over 'SM'. On the other hand if the configured option size value is already the full word and you can meet the character limit threshold by using the abbreviated form, then consider using the abbreviated form of the size instead.
