- Depth is the front to back measurement of the product when facing the primary viewing angle. Use any numeric value explicitly labeled as depth, D, or deep in the product data, product titles, attributes, or image labels. If the image includes a dimension diagram with arrows, treat the front to back arrow as the product depth. This counts as an explicit depth measurement and is not visual estimation. Thickness when it represents the depth: ff the data includes a value labeled thickness and the product’s depth is not otherwise stated, use that thickness value for Product Depth. This applies to products where the primary front to back dimension is defined by thickness such as panels or similar flat items. Convert units when needed if the original unit is explicit.
