Nordstrom Set/Multipack Includes Field Guide

If product is a set or multipack, describe all products included.

Set/Multipack Includes is an optional text field on Nordstrom Marketplace for products sold as a set or a multipack. It lists every piece in the box so the shopper knows exactly what arrives: a three-piece pajama set, a pack of five crew socks, a bracelet stack, a skincare kit. The value shows on the product detail page. Single items leave it blank.

The rules

Rule Value
Required No
Level Parent listing, one value shared by every variant in the style group
Maximum length 1,000 characters
Applies to Sets, multipacks, kits and bundles
Leave blank for Any product sold as a single item

Osello's recommendation: write one plain sentence or a comma-separated list that names each piece and its quantity. Give the count of each piece when it is more than one. Keep color out of it unless every colorway in the style group contains the same named colors, since the value is shared across the group.

Examples

Value Verdict Reason
"Includes long-sleeve top, pants and matching shorts" Good Every piece named
"Pack of 5 crew socks" Good Quantity and item stated
"Set of 3 bracelets: one chain, one beaded, one cuff" Good Count plus a description of each piece
"Cleanser (5 oz), toner (4 oz), moisturizer (1.7 oz)" Good Kit contents with sizes
"3 piece set" Weak Says how many, not which pieces
"Blush pink top and pants" Weak Names a color; wrong for the other colorways
"Comes with everything you need" Weak Promotional, tells the shopper nothing

Common mistakes

  • Filling the field in for a single garment because it has a detachable belt or a dust bag. Those go in the highlights, if anywhere. Reserve this field for products whose selling unit is several items.
  • Listing the count without the contents. "Set of 3" leaves the shopper guessing.
  • Repeating a colorway name. The value is shared by every color in the style group.
  • Describing the pieces in marketing language. Name them; the description field carries the story.

How Osello fills this field

Osello sets Set/Multipack Includes once on the parent listing, and every variant shares the value. When a listing is created, Osello's AI reads the source product title, description and options, and writes the contents only when they show the product is a set, multipack or kit. For a single item it leaves the field blank instead of inventing contents. If your Shopify catalog records set contents in a metafield, point the AI at it with custom instructions. Related requirements are in the Nordstrom field directory.

Frequently asked questions

Does a single product with accessories count as a set?

Not usually. A dress with a matching belt or a bag with a dust cover is a single item with an included accessory. Use this field when the product is sold as several items, such as a pajama set or a pack of socks.

Should I include quantities?

Yes, whenever a piece appears more than once. "Pack of 5 crew socks" and "Set of 3 bracelets" tell the shopper what arrives; "socks" alone does not.

Can the contents differ by colorway?

The value is shared across the style group, so write it to be true for every colorway. Describe pieces by type and quantity rather than by color.

Is there a length limit?

Yes, 1,000 characters. A sentence or a short comma-separated list is plenty.
