# See What's Syncing Right Now

> The spinning sync icon in the top bar tells you when Osello is actively pushing or pulling your data, and which marketplace or integration it's working with.

Whenever Osello is actively moving your data — pushing offers to a marketplace, pulling orders back from one, refreshing products from Shopify — a spinning sync icon appears in the top bar, next to the announcements bell. When nothing is running, the icon isn't there at all.

## Read the icon

The icon only shows while there's at least one sync in flight. If more than one is running, a small number appears on the icon telling you how many.

It updates on its own — you don't need to refresh the page. It appears the moment a sync starts and disappears as soon as the last one finishes.

## See what's running

Click the icon to open the list. Each row tells you:

- **What's moving and which way** — "Pushing offers", "Pulling orders", "Pulling products", and so on.
- **Where** — the marketplace or integration involved, like Macy's or Shopify.
- **Status** — **Enqueued** means it's waiting for a turn; **In progress** means it's running now.
- **When it started.**

Click any row to open that sync's full details, including its log. **View all syncs** at the bottom takes you to the complete history under **Data → Syncs**.

## What the icon does not show

Osello runs a lot of routine syncing in the background on your behalf — scheduled hourly inventory pulls, and syncs triggered automatically when a marketplace or your store notifies us that something changed. Those are deliberately left out, so the icon stays a signal about work you or your team set in motion rather than constant background noise.

Every sync, background ones included, is still recorded under **Data → Syncs**.

## If something went wrong

The icon only tracks syncs that are still running. Once a sync finishes, check **Data → Syncs** for its result, or see [Review and manage sync issues](/help/troubleshooting/review-and-manage-sync-issues) for anything that didn't go through cleanly.
