# Why Isn't My Listing Live on the Marketplace?

> A checklist for troubleshooting a listing that isn't showing or selling on a marketplace, from missing required fields to inventory location settings.

A listing only goes live after it is enabled, complete, submitted, and approved by the marketplace — and it only sells once the marketplace has a price and stock for it. Work through this checklist from top to bottom; the status badge on the listing usually tells you which step you're stuck on.

## 1. Is the listing enabled?

Osello never submits disabled listings. Open the listing under your marketplace's **Listings** page — if the badge reads **Disabled**, choose **Enable** from the "..." menu. Individual variants can be disabled too, even when the listing itself is enabled, so check the Variants tab if only some sizes or colors are missing.

## 2. Does it have a category and every required field?

A listing can't be submitted without a marketplace category, and the category decides which fields are required. An **Incomplete** badge means required data is missing or a value didn't pass validation. On the listing's **Fields** tab, turn on the **Required Only** and **Unfilled Only** filters to see exactly what's left, then fill the gaps by hand or with a Prompt. If values are filled but invalid, a red alert at the top of the listing page lists each problem and the variants it affects. If the badge still looks out of date after you've fixed things, choose **Recheck Content** from the "..." menu to re-run the checks.

## 3. Does every variant have a SKU and barcode?

Marketplaces identify each variant by its SKU, and most also require a barcode (a UPC or EAN). Osello flags the listing as incomplete instead of submitting it when either is missing.

## 4. Was it actually submitted?

A **Ready** badge means the listing is complete but hasn't been sent yet — click **Submit Listing**. If you've edited the listing since its last submission, the badge tooltip notes that changes are pending; click **Resubmit Listing** to send them. The **Submissions** tab shows every attempt and its outcome.

## 5. Did the marketplace approve it?

After submission the badge moves through **Submitting** (on its way to the marketplace) and **Submitted** (received, waiting to be acknowledged) to **Pending Approval** while the marketplace reviews it — review times vary by marketplace. **Pending Publication** means the marketplace accepted your content but hasn't added the product to its catalog yet; that's the most common reason a Nordstrom, Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Shop Simon or Dia & Co listing sits without going live. There's nothing to fix — Osello sends the price and inventory automatically as soon as the product is published. **Submission Failed** means the submission never reached the marketplace — hover over the badge for the reason and resubmit. **Changes Required** means the marketplace sent back reasons; open the **Submission Messages** tab to read them, fix what they describe, and resubmit. **Rejected** means the marketplace isn't taking the product at all, so resubmitting won't help. **Suspended** or **Unlisted** means the marketplace has taken the listing down on its side.

## 6. Can the marketplace actually sell it?

An approved listing still won't sell without an offer — the price and inventory for each SKU. Osello only counts inventory from locations that are turned on for that marketplace: open **Inventory Locations** under the marketplace in the sidebar and check the **Enabled** toggle for each location. The listing's **Offers** tab shows the price and quantity sent for each variant.
