# How Osello's AI Fills In Your Listing Fields

Marketplaces ask for a lot: fabric content, fit, style attributes, care instructions, category-specific details — often dozens of fields per listing that your store's product data doesn't include. ## What a Prompt is

A Prompt is an AI task that fills or updates listing fields. You choose which listings and which fields; Osello's AI reads everything it knows about each product — title, description, images' context, variants, existing attributes — and writes an answer for every field, in the format the marketplace requires.

Prompts handle every field type marketplaces use: text, numbers, measurements, and single- or multi-select options where the AI must choose from the marketplace's own accepted values.

## Confidence scores keep you in control

The AI grades its own work. Every value it writes gets a **confidence score from 0 to 100**:

- Values **at or above the confidence threshold** (80 by default) are applied to the listing.
- Values **below the threshold** are held for your review instead of being applied blindly.

That means you spend your time only on the answers that genuinely need human judgment, instead of re-checking hundreds of values the AI got right. Osello is designed to be accurate first — in our measurements, its field answers beat manual data entry — but you always have the final say.

## Teaching the AI your preferences

If the AI keeps getting a specific field wrong for your catalog — say, your brand measures sleeve length differently — you can add **custom instructions** for that field. Instructions travel with the field, so every future Prompt applies your guidance automatically.
