# Create and Run a Field Prompt

> Start AI Field Prompts from your listings — fill many listings at once, one listing, or a single field — and track progress as they run.

A Field Prompt puts Osello's AI to work on your listing fields. You don't build one on a form — you start it straight from your listings, and Osello creates a prompt for each listing and runs it in the background.

## Fill fields on many listings at once

1. In the sidebar, open your marketplace and click **Listings**.
2. Check the listings you want to work on. An actions bar appears above the table.
3. Under **Fields**, choose **Fill in With AI**.
4. Pick the fields the AI should fill.
5. Leave **Skip filled values** checked to fill only empty fields, or uncheck it to have the AI redo fields that already have values.
6. Click **Fill in**. Osello starts a Field Prompt for every selected listing.

To sweep the whole marketplace instead, open the **...** menu at the top of the Listings page and choose **Fill in Missing Fields**. Osello starts prompts for every listing that still has unfilled fields.

## Fill fields on a single listing

Open the listing from your marketplace's Listings page. On its **Fields** tab:

- Check one or more fields, then choose **Fill in With AI** from the actions bar.
- For a single field, click the **...** menu at the end of its row and choose **Update with AI**, then confirm with **Update**. The dialog will remind you that any existing value gets overwritten.

On a listing with variants, the **Variants** tab has the same **Fill in With AI** action for variant-level fields.

## Track progress

In the sidebar under **AI**, click **Field Prompts**. Each row is one prompt: what triggered it, the listing it worked on, the fields involved, its status, and a percent-complete figure while it runs. Finished prompts show how many fields actually changed — for example, "3/12 updated."

Every listing also has its own **Prompts** tab, which lists just the prompts that ran against that listing.

## Review the results

Open a prompt to see one line per field, with the value before, the value after, and the AI's [confidence score](/help/ai-prompts/confidence-scores-explained) for each answer. Click any field to drill into the full detail, including the exact instructions the AI followed.

If a prompt fails, the page shows the reason with a **Retry** button; you can also retry or delete a prompt from the **...** menu in its top-right corner. Retrying a failed prompt picks up the fields that didn't finish successfully; retrying a completed one runs all of its fields again.
